I have loved taking photographs since I was young, always wanting to be the one with the camera at family occasions such as Christmas.

I was born in 1970, growing up in Old Swan, Liverpool, with my parents, two brothers and two sisters. Living in a terraced house and finishing school at 16 with no qualifications.

It wasn't until 2016 when I moved back to Crawley in West Sussex for the second time, that I became friends with a former wedding photographer who I lived in a house share with. I used his camera and from his encouragement decided on buying my first Nikon DSLR.

After moving back to the north west I offered shoots to members at my local gym, instantly falling in love with photography and making it a real hobby.

In October 2018, I did my first shoot with a model who I met in a Facebook group. I became hooked and arranged a few more shoots all under a trade basis, and providing the models with the images I edited.

​

From my great work ethics, growing portfolio and amazing references, I found myself shooting with many models on a trade basis, who wanted my style of photography in their own portfolios.

 

I have over 150 magazine publications, including 18 front covers and 8 back covers. What started as a hobby has become so much more, and in February 2022, I rebranded from Fit 4 U Photography, to Lens Folio.

 

My aim for 2025 is to become affiliated with a clothing brand, and move away from the many genres of model photography and concentrate on fashion and fitness styles, particularly on location, and only work in the studio for brands and clients.

After moving to Scotland in July 2024, and starting a new job in August, I decided to take some time off to work on my health and fitness, also making time to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful countryside Scotland has in abundance.
